In aere aedificare

Since I know that many of you have been upgraded to 100 icons (whoop!), I am going to recommend a few communities that are good for getting icons from.

1. brokenicon: This community hosts three icon-makers. soporifical is the original creator of the community and she has just recently added night_fall (of legendary_icons) and thousandfeather (of feathericons) to her community. All three icon-makers are wonderful and a lot of my favorite icons have come from this community. [Members Only]
2. icon_goddess: This is vblackangelv's icon community. She makes wonderful icon and she has her memories sorted out, so everything is easy to find. IG has proof of her talent with the many awards displayed in her userinfo. [Members Only]
3. eclecticicons: Many of ainabarad's icons are animated, which isn't a bad thing unlike the way some other icons may turn out. Most of my newest icons are made by her (check out the one I've used for this post) and you can see some other samples of her work in the community info. [Members Only]
4. starryicons: You didn't think I'd forget your icon community, did you, starrysummer? <3 I recced this one earlier today when scribbulus_ink asked for some Firefly icons and I think I've noticed some other members of my flist asking for them as well. If you did, starryicons is the place to go. There's also stuff there for fans of Harry Potter (of course), the Yankees, Carnivale, House, and many more. She takes requests, too! ;)
5. ashen_memories: The best thing about allistra's icon community is the fact that she updates it regularly. Most of the time, she offers more than one version of the same icon, which adds a lot of variety. [Members Only]
